All items supplied via the www.woodworkersxs.com.au website will be shown with its individual location. It is up to the customer to arrange transportation from that location.
The Woodworkers general policy is that the customer arranges transportation of their joinery.
If the joinery is to be transported from the origin location (eg Moorooka Showroom transported within the greater Brisbane area), The Woodworkers can arrange through a local carrier on behalf of the customer at additional cost.
Timber joinery can not be easily packaged (and therefore is not) and is often difficult and heavy to handle and fragile to transport. The Woodworkers Company recommends the customer contact a local furniture removal company to arrange transportation.
In most cases furniture removal companies need to know the cubic capacity of the item or items to be transported to provide an estimate. If working this out is causing a problem, contact sales@woodworkersxs.com.au for an estimate of the cubic capacity of the item or items you have purchased.
The despatch times at most The Woodworkers locations are:
7.30am to 3.00pm week days,
8.00am to 11.30am Saturdays.
Closed: Sundays and Public Holidays.
Other times can sometimes be accommodated by special arrangement.
Transportation, especially over long distances, can cause movement of hardware pre-fitted to joinery (eg multi-fold doors and windows). It is important that this be kept in mind when fitting the door or window frame on site.
